This lake got it's name, because during sunset every day, the lake is said to turn blood red until the sun fully sets for the night. It is said that if you come here during the sunset that you can find pokemon that are ruby red in color. This makes it a hot spot for bounty hunter jobs. With people wanting to have these Ruby Pokemon captured.
Teams that venture here are advised to bring swim gear. Because not only is this a Ruby pokemon hot spot. It's also an ideal place, if you want to spend a day at the beach and relax.
The only real thing that is dangerous about this place. Is that after dark it is said that a Ruby Lugia that lives in the Lake will pick off anyone that stays behind. Then dump them in a random place in the region. Not very fun. Especially if this lands you in a place like The Forbidden Sands.
